From the Hausach railway station (altitude 196 m) leave the main road
to the east (turn right when leaving the station) and follow the signs to
Westweg which is marked with a red line on a white paralelogramm. 
It is marked with a red line on the map. Follow the Westweg northward (to
Pforzheim) for about 12 km passing Mt. Hohenlochen (alt. 686 m) to Kreuzsattel
(alt. about 750 m) (yes, Sattel means saddle and it is a saddle point) near
the north-west corner of the map. From Kreuzsattel go down the Erzenbach
and Rankach valley to Oberwolfach-Walke (7 km, alt. 300m). In Walke pass
the Church, the Town Hall, Hotel Hirschen until you see the sign to the Institute
pointing across the bridge.
For those who are not as ambitious, there is a nice stroll along the river Kinzig from Hausach to Wolfach (4 km) and further on along the river Wolf to Walke (7 km).
