Application process for 9th Heidelberg Laureate Forum has begun

Young researchers in computer science and mathematics from all over the world can apply for one of the 200 coveted spots to participate in the Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF), an annual networking event.

The HLF offers all accepted young researchers the opportunity to interact with the laureates of the most prestigious prizes in the fields of mathematics and computer science. Traditionally, the recipients of the Abel Prize, the ACM A.M. Turing Award, the ACM Prize in Computing, the Fields Medal, and the Nevanlinna Prize engage in a cross-generational scientific dialogue with young researchers in Heidelberg, Germany. If meeting in person is not safely possible, a digital alternative will be developed that creates spaces for effective, sustainable interaction.

The application period for the 9th HLF runs from November 11, 2021, until February 11, 2022. Young researchers at all phases of their careers (Undergraduate/Pre-Master, Graduate PhD or Postdoc) are encouraged to complete and submit their applications by February 11 (midnight at the dateline) via the following link: http://application.heidelberg-laureate-forum.org

The 9th HLF will take place from September 18 to 23, 2022 (with young researcher registration on September 17).
