Library Search Portal is a tool for searching and accessing many different library resources, both print and online, from a single search box.

It's particularly useful if you:
- are looking for the full text of a specific article or book chapter
- want a variety of source types (books, articles, preprints, reviews, and more) on a topic
- are just starting your research

If you just need to know on which shelving location to find a certain book or journal than you should use the Classic Library Catalogue. You may also use it to find out if a certain book or journal is available in Oberwolfach, whether in print or online.

Additional Search Tools

For a long time already the library of the MFO provides visiting researchers with free access to the two review services zbMATH as well as MathSciNet. The integrated Link Resolver makes it possible to access full-texts directly from within zbMATH or MathSciNet or to launch a search in the library catalogue, to ascertain whether the title or article is available at the MFO. The access to MathSciNet is supported through a consortia-licence of the DFG.

Additionally, we can offer access to Encyclopaedia Britannica, Britannica Academic.
