John Todd Award 2022: Call for Proposals

The Oberwolfach Foundation awards in cooperation with the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach the John Todd Award 2022 for excellent achievements of junior researchers in Numerical Analysis. We request all senior scientists in Numerical Analysis to make proposals before 1 September 2022.

The John Todd Award is awarded about every three years by the Oberwolfach Foundation and the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach to excellent junior mathematicians working in numerical analysis. The Scientific Committee of the Gesellschaft für mathematische Forschung e.V. is involved in selecting the fellows from the nominations.

The John Todd Award is endowed with Euro 1,000. It has been awarded since 2007. Information on its origin and history as well as previous award winners can be found on our webpage about the John Todd Award.

Candidates should have a Ph.D./Dr. degree received not more than 10 years ago and must be nominated. Proposals should contain a short description of the scientific achievements, curriculum vitae and publication list of the candidate.
