MFO calls for proposals for Workshops with a distinguished networking character. This is a new category of Workshops within the MFO program whose aim is to enhance gender and diversity, and to strengthen the impact of minorities in mathematics.

On July 6, 2021, the MFO put its new charging station for electric cars into operation. Guests arriving by electric car will in future be able to charge their vehicles directly at the MFO parking lot.
Because of the very positive feedback and high demand for this new fellowship, the possibility to apply for an Oberwolfach Research Fellowship is extended to end of December 2021.

In order to react to the current crisis the MFO offers the possibility to apply for an Oberwolfach Research Fellowship. Single researchers or groups up to four people can apply for a stay between two weeks and three months. Junior researchers and post-docs can apply for full scholarships and travel support.
The MFO is keeping a close eye on current developments and follows the instructions of the Federal State of Baden-Württemberg, the Federal Ministry of Health, the Robert Koch Institut (RKI) and the World Health Organization. New guidelines and recommendations may very quickly result in the adjustment of our measures. Please inform yourself regularly on our website.
